In medical terminology, “primary angle closure” (PAC) refers to a structural condition in the eye where the drainage system becomes physically blocked by the iris, the colored part of the eye. The “angle” specifically designates the 360-degree anatomical junction located between the clear cornea and the iris, which contains a drainage sponge called the trabecular meshwork.
