You can pin any folder in Windows by utilizing the Quick Access feature, the Start Menu, or the Taskbar. Depending on where you want the folder shortcut to live, the process varies slightly between simple right-clicks and minor path modifications.

Method 1: Pin to Quick Access (File Explorer Navigation Pane)

This is the most common method. It permanently anchors your folder to the left-hand sidebar of any File Explorer window.

Open File Explorer by pressing the Windows Key + E shortcut. Navigate to the location of the folder you want to pin. Right-click the folder to reveal the context menu. Select “Pin to Quick access” from the options.

Note: Pinned folders display a small pin icon next to them. You can rearrange them by clicking and dragging them up or down the list. Method 2: Pin to the Start Menu

If you prefer hitting the Windows key and seeing your favorite folders alongside your apps, use this approach. Microsoft Support File Explorer in Windows – Microsoft Support
